Her clinical experience includes renowned healthcare systems such as Boston Children’s Hospital and Children’s National Medical Center, with specialized expertise in complex care pediatrics, developmental disabilities, and a broad range of special healthcare needs. Her experience includes caring for people with gastrostomy tubes and tracheostomies, birth injuries, trauma- and accident-related disabilities, genetic conditions, autism, ADHD, and rare diseases. Throughout her life, she has been both a family caregiver and decision-maker, giving her firsthand insight into the emotional, physical, and often overwhelming realities of caring for a loved one with complex and unique needs.
Dr. Gagnon understands that caring for a people with disabilities is about far more than managing medical needs. It is about navigating systems, making difficult decisions, supporting siblings, protecting family relationships, and finding practical ways to keep the entire family moving forward.
